Bangladesh Water Partnership (BWP) has been commissioned by the Bangladesh Water Multi-Stakeholder Partnership to conduct a rapid assessment of the groundwater sustainability of the Greater Dhaka Area. BWP is the country partnership of the Global Water Partnership Organization headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, and in this regard, was supported by the 2030 WRG. This report has consolidated secondary information from various relevant studies and provides general estimations of groundwater resource availability, its challenges, and ways to overcome them to accommodate sectoral growth aspirations.
