Our Partners

Since the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Water on behalf of the Government of Tanzania and the 2030 WRG in October 2013, discussions have been held with the Government of Tanzania as well as with organizations from the public, private sectors and civil society.

In the public sector, these include: Tanzania’s Ministry of Water, Prime Minister’s Office, the Tanzania Electric Supply Company (regulated by the Ministry of Energy and Minerals), the African Development Bank (AfDB), the World Bank Group, and bilateral aid offices from the UK, Switzerland, U.S., Germany.

Among private sector actors, these include the Southern Agricultural Growth Corridor of Tanzania (SAGCOT) Centre Ltd, Agrica, Nestlé, PepsiCo, Tanzania Breweries, Syngenta CEO roundtable of Tanzania (CEOrt), African Barrick Gold, Geita Gold Mine, Export Trading Co Ltd, Jambo Plastics Ltd, Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd, Coca Cola Bonite Bottlers, Eco Energy, Tanzania Chamber of Commerce Industries and Agriculture (TCCIA), TPS Ltd, Yara and the Tanzania Private Sector Foundation (TPSF) among others.

In the civil society realm, the 2030 WRG is working with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), WaterAid, and the Nature Conservancy.
